Asking someone how to find true love is like asking a crowd of people what their favorite food is. The answer is different depending on who it comes from. 2. Be who you are. Don't try to change yourself in order to find true love. You will not be able to find someone who loves you for you if you are being someone else! Show your own traits and charms and wait for the person who loves each one of those traits and charms! It's like putting an ad in the paper. You can dress up your old car to make it sound like a brand new piece of machinery, but why not be truthful and wait for that person who wants nothing other than a fine classic automobile?
3. Look at your options! You might be desperate for love. However, entering a relationship before you're ready could be the biggest mistake you will ever make. Most relationships that start out this way do not last and only create problems for the future. Be sure you truly like someone before starting a relationship with them. Spend time with him and find out what kind of person he is before you decide if you want to take things further.
4. Don't be afraid of blind dates and matchmakers! While many people are too nervous to go out on dates that their friends set them up with, you shouldn't. Just go into it expecting to have a great time and you may be surprised.
True love is not necessarily something you can go out and hunt down - it's usually something you stumble into before you realize what's going on.
